Date selector decrement is a month, not possible to switch years. It is a pain to set dates close to birthdates.

Description

What is the current behavior?

There are webforms field requiring a date and are implicitly set to open OS or browser date selector. The eOS date selector allows to switch view by month, but not by year.

What is the improved behavior?

Enhance the current date picker functionality by implementing the following improvements:

1. Hold to Scroll: Enable the left and right buttons (for previous and next months) to continuously scroll through months when held down, rather than requiring multiple individual taps. This would allow users to quickly navigate to past or future dates.
2. Year Selector: Add an optional year selector dropdown or allow the user to directly jump to a specific year, reducing the number of taps needed to select a date far in the past.
3. Incremental Scrolling: Consider implementing incremental scrolling, where holding down the button initially moves through months slowly, then accelerates if the button continues to be held.

What does it bring?

This improvement would enhance the overall user experience, particularly for forms requiring the input of historical dates, and reduce frustration and time spent on these actions.
