Chop-Chop Motorola gesture and ambient display doesn't work

  • Device rooted: yes (but only to take logcat)

Summary

Chop-Chop gesture doesn't work, but other moto gestures do work, it says this on logcat "proximity sensor covered, ignoring chop-chop", also, Ambient display is enabled but doesn't work, it doesn't activate

Chop-Chop: use the Chop-Chop moto Gesture

Ambient display: tried to disable and enable it various times but doesn't get enabled, i think it's because the same sensor problem that Chop-Chop gesture do have

What is the current behavior?

Logcat says that sensor is covered, but it's not, especially since it's not covered and also, it's not a problem on any other ROM, even on Stock ROM, so, if i do chop-chop gesture, it doesn't do anything, but strangely, the camera gesture do work without problems, in case of ambient display, all options are enabled by default, but if i move or take my phone, it doesn't activate ambient display

What is the expected correct behavior?

Chop-Chop activates or deactivates on gesture and ambient display showing

Possible fixes

Maybe fixing sensor related problems since chop-chop gesture and ambient display do get enabled by gestures and/or movement detection.
