/e/OS: Events older than 3 months not visible on calendar app

  • /e/ version: 1.16-beta
  • Device model(s): FP4
  • Developer mode enabled: yes
  • Device rooted: no
  • Trackers blocker enabled: yes

Summary

One time events planned more than 3 months ago are not visible on /e/OS calendar app whereas they were as long as their occurring date was less than 3 months ago, only recurring events are visible.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

  • Create a one time event more than 3 months in the past on murena.iocalendar OR identify a one time event which took place over 3 months ago (no matter in which app it was created as long as you're sure it was synced) OR identify a recurring event for which the last occurrence was over 3 months ago
  • Validate if event visible on /e/OS calendar app

What is the current behavior?

One time events which occurred more than 3 months ago are not visible on /e/OS Calendar.
Recurring events for which the last occurrence was over 3 month ago are not visible in /e/OS Calendar.
Only recurring events still happening or for which the last occurrence was less than 3 month ago are displayed.

What is the expected correct behavior?

All kind of events are visible on /e/OS Calendar during 1 year (365 days) so the user can check an event from the past without having to go on the cloud.\

The default setting to be updated is here:

Settings > Accounts > username@murena.io > My Account > Settings (Additional settings for account) > username@murena.io > cogwheel and scrolling down a bit:

We need to change 90 into 365 by default.
