Display a message to inform user device must be unlocked once after reboot before being able to consult Emergency contacts

  • /e/ version: 1.14
  • Device model(s): multiple
  • Developer mode enabled: yes/no
  • Device rooted: yes/no
  • Trackers blocker enabled: yes/no

Summary

It is not possible to make an emergency call to an emergency contact after reboot

The problem

Steps to reproduce

Add some emergency contacts, if you like information about you too.
Restart the phone.
If you unlock the phone after restart, then lock it, then click on emergency call > 2xemergency information, you see both information about you and your emergency contacts who you can call.
But, if you do not unlock the phone after restart, and directly click on emergency call > 2xemergency information, you see only some information about you, but no emergency contacts. Emergency contacts are then lost forever.

side note: There is also the small bug, that when you try to add an emergency contact, the first time it is never added, the second time it is added.

What is the current behavior?

Emergency contacts lost

What is the expected correct behavior?

When the user has not unlocked their device after booting it and tries to see the emergency contacts, an alert appears with the following wording:

You need to unlock your device at least once after booting it to be able to see the emergency contacts.
