Summary

Browser app Quick thumbnails (QTs) (frequently visited websites) displays inconsistently for three different views:

  • new tab: QTs form a grid 4x3
  • edit the current address: QTs form a row and can be slide to the sides.
  • edit the current address: QTs are not shown occasionally.

The problem

Steps to reproduce Compare QTs in different scenarios:

  • Open a new tab
  • tap the address bar to edit the address (two outcomes possible)

What is the current behavior?

The QTs are shown in varying schemes (grid vs row) and sometimes QTs are not shown at all. QTs are not shown, when qwant page has been displayed just recently.

What is the expected correct behavior?

QTs are shown always in a grid (and so using up the empty space and user is not required to swipe to see more QTs.
