Description
What is the current behavior?
There is no option to auto-record call in the default calling app
What is the improved behavior?
We will add an option to auto-record call by categories:
- All calls
- Groups in contacts
- Calls from unknown numbers
- Specific contacts
What does it bring?
The ability to record conversation, which might be useful for personal use or in the case of lawsuits.
Please pay attention that in most countries it's allowed and there is no restriction to using it. We could manage it by exposing these options for users in countries which allow call recording. Which is most countries in the world it's acceptable, except for a few in the EU.
Mock-ups
The contact app will have an section in setting for call recording. It will include the following auto-recording options -
- All calls
- Groups in contacts
- Calls from unknown numbers
- Specific contacts
