V1.11.dev - FP3 - Battery drain caused by media storage

Summary
Since updating my Fairphone 3, to 1.11 (S dev) via OTA, the Media storage app eats up quite a lot of battery.
The problem
Detailed description of the problem
Consumed 18% of my battery in 8 hours.
This happens also when the app battery mode is on "restricted". Battery is 3 years old and in decent health (83%). No overheating. This did not happen prior to the update.
