Gallery - wrong sort of edited pictures

Summary
When you edit a picture and save the modified picture, whatever the type of the original picture, the behavior in Time window or folder window, the new picture is not sorted correctly.
The problem
Steps to reproduce
Take a picture (created with Camera), edit it like with the black & white filter and save it. Take a screenshot of what you want, edit it like with the black & white filter and save it.
What is the current behavior?
for modified picture created with Camera, if you use Time or folder view, the new picture is placed I would say randomly in the view. Not at the first place, not at the last one, not beside the original picture... for modified screenshot, if you use Time or folder view, it is placed at the bottom of the window... Why at the last place like it would be the oldest picture while it is the newest one?
What is the expected correct behavior?
the new picture created from an existing one have to be placed at the correct place. So if it is the last created picture, it should be placed at the top of time/folder view.
