FP4 never takes a picture as long as the phone is moving (no fixed focus). This is likely caused by Open Camera: https://sourceforge.net/p/opencamera/tickets/615/

Click the take picture button in Camera and start moving FP4, the camera does not take a picture until you stop moving the phone.

Should take a picture immediately

Workaround

Click the third button on top (flash icon) > under photo mode, choose locked or infinity or MF (manual focus)
