How to change the default search engine in the /e/OS browser

The /e/OS browser comes by default with Spot, our metasearch service. Spot aggregates web search results from different sources to give the most complete results. It is forked from Searx. Combined with the ad blocker built-in the /e/OS browser, it is a great option to search in a private way.

Change the default search engine in the /e/OS browser

To change the default search engine in the browser, it is very simple.

  1. Open the /e/OS browser
  2. Click on the 3 dotted points in the top right corner,
  3. Select Settings,
  4. Tap on 'Search engine'
  5. Select the search engine of your choice.

Please add screenshots taken in demo mode so there isn't unnecessary notifications on screen
