Tracker "Mobile Engagement" breaks Office OAuth login when blocked

  • /e/ version: 1.3-20220824212931
  • Device model(s): OnePlus 6 A6003
  • Device rooted: no

Summary

The Tracker "Mobile Engagement" blocked by Advanced Privacy breaks Microsoft 365 OAuth logins. The domain login.microsoftonline.com which is used to handle OAuth login flows is blocked. This should probably be forwarded to exodus or similar, but I could not find a report form there.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

Turn on Advanced Privacys Tracker blocking. Open your browser of choice (though this also impacts mail clients that support office365 with OAuth) Head over to office.com and try to log in. The login button will attempt to redirect you to login.microsoftonline.com The domain will fail to connect.

What is the current behavior?

login.microsoft.com is blocked

What is the expected correct behavior?

login.microsoft.com should be excluded from the filter
