Intune Company Portal (com.microsoft.windowsintune.companyportal): Cannot enroll with Android Enterprise
- /e/ version: 1.2-20220725206061
- Device model(s): FP3
- Device rooted: unknown
Summary
When trying to register my FP3 to my employer's company portal (as provided by Microsoft), during the second phase of the registration process - Activate work profile (see attached image Registration.png), an error message is shown: Company Portal couldn't set up your work profile (see attached image Error message.png - note that I actually have a working internet connection, so the error message is not very accurate).
The problem
To reprpoduce: install and open MS Intune Company Portal app, then perform the regstration proces to an existing company portal.
What is the current behavior?
The first phase of the regsitration process seems to work normally, as a workprofile (containing several apps) is in fact created on my FP3. During the second phase ('Activate work profile' - see attached Registration.png), an error message is shown, stating that no internet connection is available (see attached Error_message.png - even though my internet connection is working fine). On the side of my empoyer, the company portal states that my device does not comply to the company policy (alas, without any further information on why).
What is the expected correct behavior?
Normnal completion of the registration process.

Workaround
None
Possible fixes
Might have something to do with MicroG services (also see https://community.e.foundation/t/ms-intune-company-portal-unable-to-register/35009), but then again, the registration process worked okay (not faultless, but well enough) before upgrading to /e/os v1.0/v1.1/v1.2
