OTA update 1.2 bricked OnePlus Nord. 300+€ damage because you didn't stop OTAs???

#5647 (closed) is closed, so here again: Hi, why are you still spreading OTAs for OnePlus Nord when it is known that it does not work??? It’s a disaster if an update fails cause there is no easy system backup for android.

After OTA updating to 1.2 on my OnePlus Nord (AC2003 EU Version) it says “Qualcomm Crashdump Mode”. I have already been unable to install update 1.0, it refused to update (forgot which error message). But the phone still worked without updating.

I downloaded the Emergency Download Mode driver here. It seems to work in device manager (shows as Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E (com10)) but I dont't know the right com port and baud rate?

I tried to get the msm download tool to work (MSMDownloadTool V5.1.35--avicii_14_E.13_210204). It doesn't recognize the device. No idea if it's the right version (OnePlus_Nord_EU_OxygenOS_10.5.11.zip).
