MicroSD is shown as damaged

Summary

After initial installation of the system (New Phone) I added a microsd as external storage device. I could transfer music to it and use it as usual. However, after the night, it shows the sdcard as “damaged” and wants to reformat. See the picture below. May be related to 3684.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install eos 1.2-rc1 on Fairphone 4

  2. Add sdcard as external storage

  3. use card as usual

  4. Wait for it to show the card damaged notification (card worked flawless on FP3 with eos 1.1)

    • power off the phone --> plug it in to recharge --> turn on the phone while it is plugged in

    or

    • plug phone in to recharge --> power off the phone --> turn on the phone while it is plugged in
