Advanced Privacy doesn't identify trackers in pro profile (Shelter)

  • /e/ version: e-1.0-q-20220526188859-stable-herolte
  • Device model(s): Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F (herolte)
  • Device rooted: no

Summary

The tracker blocker functionality counts 0 tracker blocked by for each app in the pro profile using Shelter, and no tracker seems to be effectively blocked in the duplicated version of Advanced Privacy.

However leaks from apps in work profile are shown in the graphs and counted in the main profile, this needs to be clearly shown.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Shelter and generate a pro profile from the perso profile App Lounge
  2. Install intrusive apps in the pro profile from the pro profile App Lounge
  3. Open Advanced Privacy from pro profile (via Shelter)
  4. Enable it
  5. Use the intrusive apps in the pro profile
  6. Check if the pro profile Advanced Privacy identified trackers to block

What is the current behavior?

No trackers nor leaks are identified by Advanced Privacy in the duplicated version of Advanced Privacy

I don't know if the trackers are actually blocked, but adds persist in the apps

The trackers from the apps of the Pro profile are counted in main Advanced Privacy's graphs but it's not clear and visible.

What is the expected correct behavior?

The trackers and ads from the apps of the Pro profile are listed under their apps which display a suitcase icon as they do on the launcher in the main Advanced Privacy app (duplicating the app in the pro profile is useless).
