Camera do not work, apps freeze, or the phone freezes when recording video on Fairphone after the update to 1.0

The problem

Steps to reproduce

Update to /e/ OS 1.0. Default Camera app, Telegram, Signal and QR & Barcode Scanner (com.example.barcodescanner) do not record videos. Restart do not help. The screen remains black, where the camera picture was supposed to be, but a small camera symbol shows up next to the WIFI Symbol. After that, even flashlight does not start. It can also cause phone to freezes/turns off

Workaround

At some point, possibly after the phone freezes and a hard reset is done, the issue disappears, and the camera starts working.
