E-Mail - issue with deleting several emails at once

Summary

For deleting several emails at once, the user needs to long-press on one email, then he/she can select others by just clicking on the respective message briefly.
After long-pressing on the first email, there are tick boxes appearing on the right side of the screen - indicating selected emails.
To get an email selected the users needs to click anywhere on an existing message. BUT if he/she clicks with the finger on the actual tick-box (what users might do for reasons of intuition) there is a problem: The email will not be ticked and the email list will be scrolled up or down as the tick box is too close to the right screen border that allows to scroll pages up or down.

The only way avoiding this would be to move the tick-boxes from the right screen border to the left screen border.
