Moto G4 Play (harpia) - voice call inaudible when roaming abroad

Summary

With my UK sim I can make calls in Germany but numbers called can’t hear me. No roaming data either. Voice calls from Germany to the UK work ok though.

The problem

Roaming from UK to Germany (Tesco SIM -> o2), it does connect and a SMS is received that roaming is enabled, but it does not work (above mentioned problems).
