"Rooted Debugging" option is no longer shown in developer options after update to version 0.23-r-20220413178020-stable-FP4
- /e/ version:0.23 stable (0.23-r-20220413178020-stable-FP4)
- Device model(s): FP4
- Device rooted: no
Summary
By doing the upgrade from 0.22 to 0.23 the feature “Rooted Debugging” got lost from developer options in GUI on a FP4 with "stable" OS installed. The problem is also described in https://community.e.foundation/t/rooted-debugging-got-lost-on-update-to-version-0-23/40592
The problem
Steps to reproduce
Upgrade the said device from 0.22 to 0.23 (or maybe manually install 0.23 stable)
What is the current behavior?
The setting "Rooted Debugging" is no longer shown in the developer options. It seems that the setting of the developer options selected in 0.22 remains unchanged in 0.23 but it can no longer be changed as the option is no longer shown in developer options settings...
What is the expected correct behavior?
There should be a slider in developer settings from enabling and disabling "Rooted Debugging".
