Summary
In audio calls made by Slack (huddle or regular call) or Teams, the audio of the incoming party sounds like Mickey Mouse. That is, high pitched, condensed.
The issue
- persists between reboots
- happens when using only the phone (held to the ear, or with loudspeaker), and with a Bluetooth headset
- only affects incoming audio, not outgoing audio (other parties can hear me fine)
- happens in latest versions of Slack (e.g., 22.04.20.0) / Teams (1416) installed via Aurora
- does not happen when using a music player, VLC, NewPipe, or doing regular calls (clarification: the playback audio from these application works fine; I haven't tested what happens if VLC runs while I do a Teams call)
How one can reproduce the issue
- On FP4, start a Slack or Teams audio call
- Ask the other party to say something
- Listen
What is the expected correct behavior?
Audio 'just works'.

Workaround
I think I was able to fix this once after lots of fiddling and various re-calls (I've had that issue for months now, IIRC since I started using /e/, but I might misremember), but the last few calls I definitely couldn't get it to work anymore.
