Solutions
What I tried
- Brand new Murena Teracube 2e purchased straight from /e/ store.
- Never installed a SIM or MicroSD card.
- Just changed a few Android settings and created an /e/ account and updated /e/ OS.
- In microG I tried to turn off the three settings (Device Registration, Cloud Messaging, SafetyNet).
- MicroG Self-Check has all boxes properly ticked.
- I also tried to Disable MicroG in Android Apps, and also to clear its Storage&Cache data.
- When I re-try to add my Google account after that MicroG data cleaning, I also get a notification in my Google account that I logged into a new device, as if it had worked: "A new sign-in on Teracube 2e. We noticed a new sign-in to your Google Account on a Teracube 2e device. If this was you, you don’t need to do anything. If not, we’ll help you secure your account."
