No sound and laggy Video while playback of videos.
The problem
Steps to reproduce
After installing eOS 0.18 on a Sony XA2 (pioneer) Video playback is choppy and I do not get sound.
What is the current behavior?
When playing Videos you won't hear anything. The Video stutters.
What is the expected correct behavior?
When playing Video you should hear sound. The Video should play smoothly.

Workaround
You may use Bluetooth headsets. Audio is working then.
Possible fixes
Same issue as reported for LineageOS: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/1919 You will find a possible solution there, but I was wondering if A) eOS is working on an own solution and B) sideloading the zip-file linked in the mentioned bug report will work on eOS 0.18
