Maps : Problem geolocating oneself on map after fresh install

Steps to reproduce

Fresh install /e/ OS on device.
Make sure the device has a SIM card inserted, GPS and Internet enabled.
Open Maps app.

What is the current behavior?

It took a couple of maps app restarts & under open sky to detect my position with a blue arrow indicating that my current location to be approximately 6000 km away from the default(Europe) location.

What is the expected correct behavior?

Map should center to user's position on world map.
