Adaptive brightness reacts too slowly (few seconds) on activating the screen. Adaptive brightness shall react quicker as soon as feasible.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

• Allow adaptive brightness
• Work in dark environment (room) and allow for automatic setting of low screen brightness
• turn screen off, place device into the pocket and go to bright environment (sunny)
• pull device and turn screen on

What is the current behavior?

• Screen remains very dark for about 3-4 seconds then turns bright.

What is the expected correct behavior?

The screen shall turn bright quicker.
