Weather widget does not set up automatically

  • /e/ version:e-0.18-r-20210809129259 (R Testing)
  • Device model(s):Essential PH-1 mata
  • Device rooted: no

Summary

On the Bliss widget screen tap the weather widget to set it up and it directs you to create an account with a weather provider.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

Tap the weather widget to set it up

What is the current behavior?

New screen opens called "Weather panel" which states "No weather source selected". Further screen presses end in you being requested to open an account with a weather provider.

What is the expected correct behavior?

I can't remember exactly, but I think it should automatically set up according to location.

Whenever I flash eOS to a device it is my habit to always untick the checkbox for location permission at first boot in order to have a blank weather widget. I don't know if this would have any bearing on this issue but may try a factory reset at some point.
