Hyperlink color issue - foundation.e.notes
- /e/ version: 0.1620210416110816
- Device model(s): Fairphone 3
Summary
Into the Notes app provided by /e/OS, if the user writes an hyperlink using a markdown syntax, in preview mode, the hyperlink color is white with a light theme and black with the dark theme. That makes it almost unreadable. The problem doesn't occur onto the Web app neither into the Nextcloud Notes app.
The problem was already signaled here for the Nextcloud Notes app:
https://github.com/nextcloud/notes/issues/428
The problem
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Notes app
- Create a new note
- Edit the note
- Write a hyperlink with markdown syntax (or without)
- Go to preview mode
- With a light theme, the hyperlink looks white, with a dark theme, it looks black
What is the current behavior?
Into preview mode the hyperlink is not matching the expected color to make it properly readable.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Into preview mode the hyperlink colour should be inverted at least, black with a light theme and white with a dark theme. Blue would be better as it's the default look of a hyperlink onto the Web.

I don't have it because I don't really think this is a specific issue and I don't think so I'm an isolated case either, plus, the problem looks easily replicable. Of course, tell me if I mistake here, and I will do that for you, you just will have to explain me how to get it.

Workaround
Use the Web app instead or the Nextcloud Notes app.. This is not really a workaround..
Possible fixes
As I'm not an expert, I don't have any real suggestion but I know the problem was already discussed here:
https://github.com/nextcloud/notes/issues/428
You should have a look, probably that could help, it's seems to be about settings concerning primary colours.
