Problems with combined 2,4GHz & 5GHz wifi & Samsung S5 Neo LTE
- /e/ version: 0.15q
- Device model(s): SAmsung S5 Neo (s5neolte)
Summary
Note: I don't own the device, so I'm just filling this for a friend, which might make getting additional information bit difficult, friend is not so techy user.using function at router which combines 2,4GHz & 5GHz signals under same SSID, s5neolte drops wifi connection already after few meters from router. Even when close to router, connection isn't stable. (Note, there's PMF ticked on at router wifi settings). This issue is tested witg Huawei B818 LTE Router.
When
The problem
Steps to reproduce
Connect device to router with combined SSID for 2,4GHz & 5GHz to test is connection stable and does it drop completely.
What is the current behavior?
Currently connection is unstable and connection drops completely when using with combined SSID. When disabling SSID combining to make 2,4GHz visible as it's own wifi-network, connection seems to work even when PMF is still on at router settings.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Stable connection, no dropouts even if SSID is combined.

Solutions
Workaround
Currently workaround is to separate 2,4GHz and 5GHz separately as own wifi networks.
