Files app: delete option trash icon missing in Recent screen

Summary

In the Files app, Recent files screen, there is not an option to delete a selected file. Trash icon missing.

I notice the same issue in LineageOS 18.1 also.

The problem

Steps to reproduce

Open Files app, select Recent, select a file

What is the current behavior?

Screen changes to show (as in screenshot below) 1 selected, plus a share icon and three dot menu at top right.

What is the expected correct behavior?

Screen changes to show a trash icon as well

Workaround
