Ring - Always Home App Won't Display Historical Motion Recordings

The Ring Always Home app installs fine. All but one feature works - the ability to view historical motion recordings.

Steps to reproduce

open the app, go to the appropriate camera, and try to view a "motion" event in the past.

What is the current behavior?

The historical video will not play. The video is stuck loading and won't play.

What is the expected correct behavior?

The video should play automatically.
