Nexus 5X Bootloop during first install

Summary

Fresh install on Nexus 5X- Unable to complete boot

Steps to reproduce

My Nexus 5X is rooted and has TWRP installed. I downloaded the latest 'bullhead' nightly image, and wipe the partitions as suggested by the wiki.

What is the current behavior?

The Nexus 5X boots, and I see a boot message about data being personal. The boot logo 'e' then bounces up and down, whilst the boot continues. I then get a 'vendor image mismatch' message, which I have had with other ROMs. I press 'OK'. I then get a 'System UI has failed' (or similar) message, and the device then rebbots several times, before pausing indefinitely, whilst booting.

What is the expected correct behavior?

I expected to see the initial 'bouncing e', whilst the image installed, then probably a welcome screen and initial user set up.

Relevant logs and/or screenshots

(Paste any relevant logs - please use code blocks (```) to format console output, logs, and code as it's very hard to read otherwise.) (You can use adb logcat command to capture log of you device, when connected to a computer)

Possible fixes

Use the proposed paid service, to have the device flashed.
