UI issues in Contact app

Summary

What is the current behavior?

In Create new contact there are two issues:

When you touch a text field like "first name" or "last name", there is no blinking vertical bar, so the user doesn't know he can type something, it's quite disturbing
when you start to type something, the vertical bar shows up but:

1- it's VERY thin (hardly visible)

2- it doesn't blink

Also in the contact search field, the copy-paste selector is not visible (transparent):

What does it bring?
