Spot result and speed problems with Startpage and Duckduckgo

Summary

Using spot is very unreliable with the engines "startpage" and "duckduckgo". This makes spot hardly usable.

The problem

What is the current behavior?

Engines settings are default, this means startpage and duckduckgo are activated. Frequently spot reports that "startpage" is not delivering search results and then sport does return nothing. If i then switch of startpage and let only duckduckgo activated i always get: "Sorry, no results found!" This looks like that engine duckduckgo is not working at all.

What is the expected correct behavior?

I would expect that spot is using the engines as configured in the settings.

Workaround

I use the duckduckgo web page. :-)
