seeking recovery mode on LG G5 H850
LG G5 H850 I have not been able to boot to recovery I downloaded twrp, I set up debugging and unlocked the phone with the developers unlock key, it reads unlocked "Yes". I flash twrp, it says to next reboot into recovery, but does not say how, and I have not been able to accomplish it =( In other words, I followed all the steps on the instructions from LG to unlock, and unlock seems to have worked: http://developer.lge.com/resource/mobile/RetrieveBootloader.dev this was part of following the instructions here to instal /e/ OS : https://gitlab.e.foundation/e/wiki/en/wikis/device/h850/install These instructions went MOSTLY fine all the way to reboot into recovery, which I have not figured out how to do =(
Please do not let these 2 issue complaints in the next lines distract you from my current actually as-yet-unsolved issue of missing recovery which is continued below! It took lots of roundabouts to discover that adbwinapi.dll is needed only in windows and I kept looking for it on my mac forever before i discovered on the web a reference that it was windows only... AND, the whole issue of adding to the bash profile is hugely impossible to figure out without previous knowledge/understanding... I finally got it working (without understanding) by using this: https://github.com/corbindavenport/nexus-tools
I found something on the web about the lack of ability to reboot into recovery on an LG G5 that did not help, but thought you should see in case it is help that I am not figuring out... here: https://www.androidexplained.com/lg-g5-recovery-mode/
The closest I come is an android robot on it's back with a red triangle out it's chest =( Sometimes it just gives me the screen that says "your device can not be cheacked for corruption, check your boot loader"
I want it to go into twrp recovery mode, or any other way I can sideload /e/ OS ... =)
