  1. Open the music app
  2. Select songs stored on your SD card
  3. Choose "add to the playlist"
  4. Select an existing playlist or create a new one
  5. Turn off your phone and reboot it.

What is the current behavior?

After rebooting, all the created playlists are there but they are empty (it says '0 title' under the name of the playlist)

Solutions

Workaround

Store the music on the internal storage. This can only be temporary if like me you have a lot of music and want to keep taking pictures and videos.
