ecloud file sharing with other ecloud users doesn't work

Summary

It appears to be impossible to share a file or folder with another ecloud.global user.

It is possible to create a public link with or without password, but I'm talking of sharing with another local user

This is probably essentially the same as #1059 (closed)

The problem

Click the share icon, start typing the user id or name of another user in the "Name, federated cloud id, or email address" box nothing is found.

What is the expected correct behavior?

As described in the owncloud documentation
