Auto-rotate is not working properly on my preinstalled /e/ S9
Summary
The automatic rotation is shifted by 90°. This makes the smartphone impossible to use unless I disable auto-rotate. I have /e/OS 0.11-2020083170820, which is the latest update available, but this bug isn't new (I had it since I bought the phone, in August 2019 and the system updates didn't solve the bug).
The problem
Steps to reproduce
Activate the "auto-rotate" option on a preinstalled /e/ Samsung S9.
What is the current behavior?
The screen is shifted by 90° (counterclockwise). The display is in "landscape" mode when I hold the phone in "portrait" mode (and vice-versa). When I take a photo (with OpenCamera), the photo is rotated 90° counterclockwise.
What is the expected correct behavior?
The screen should be in "portrait" mode when I hold the phone in "portrait" mode and in "landscape" mode when I hold it in "landscape" mode.
Solutions
Workaround
Disable "auto-rotate" (not really a solution...)
Possible fixes
Rotate things displayed on the screen 90° clockwise and "auto-rotation" would work as expected.
