PDF Viewer Plus does not update from 3.2.23 to 3.3.24

Summary

When updating the preinstalled PDF Viewer Plus from version 3.2.23 to 3.3.24 (using Aurora Store, as the default Apps store does not containt the lastest version), the update procedure fails, mentioning an error message stating "A conflicting package exists."

Steps to reproduce Use Aurora Store to update PDF Viewer Plus to version 3.3.24.

What is the current behavior? The update fails, appearently because "A conflicting package exists.

What is the expected correct behavior? That the installation of version 3.3.24 would proceed without problems.

Solutions

Workaround Normally, the work around would be to first remove the old version and then install the latest one. But as PDF Viewer Plus is a preinstalled app, it is not possible to remove it.

Possible fixes No suggestions.
