Problems with bluetooth connection Fairphone 3 -> Renault R-Link2

Summary

When connection to the Renault R-Link2 system in my car, the bluetooth connection is established without any problem. However, after a few seconds the message "phone has no network" appears on the screen of the R-Link system (even if my phone has perfect network connection). The result is that I cannot use the R-Link2 system to start a phone call, but when a call is initiated directly from my phone, or when I receive an incoming call, everything works fine (proving that the bluetooth connection for calls still works). Whether other bluetooth connections (such as a media connection for playing back music) are active does not seem to make a difference.

The problem

To reproduce, buy or rent a Renault with an R-Link2 system and establish a bluetooth connection. Then try to make a phonecall using the R-Link system.

What is the current behavior? A few seconds after establishing the bluetooth phone connection, the R-Link2 system shows a message "phone has no network"

What is the expected correct behavior? That I can use the R-Link2 system to initiate phone calls.
