Camera and flashnight don't work on Xiaomi whyred

The problem

Steps to reproduce

Open the default Camera OR
Tap on the flashlight the system tray

What is the current behavior?

Camera error: "Impossible to open camera, maybe another app is using it, ID:0" Flashight tray icon is gray and disabled

What I tried but without success:

I tried to install other cameras, none of them work. The flashlight shortcut from the status bar is also greyed and not working.
I tried to give all permissions to the camera
I tried resetting to factory settings

Possible fixes

Is there a way to get the camera to work with this device? I thought about install camera2 api but I can't get adb or root access. Thank you for your help
