Turning data off from lock screen requires logging in
This report is not for a bug... more of a UX/design nit.
When the phone is locked, several actions are available from the status bar. Specifically, one may enable "Airplane mode" which disables WiFi, GSM (including mobile data), and Bluetooth. This action does not require logging in. Anyone who has the phone in hand can do it.
When one disables "Mobile data" however, the system wants confirmation by showing a dialog, and this requires logging in just to answer the dialog question "Turn off mobile data?" [CANCEL/TURN OFF]
I would argue that it should be possible to turn off mobile data from the lock screen without having to log in.
If it helps, I can find the place in the code where the dialog is shown?
