Undo option instead of the confirmation dialogue on Discard a draft message in /e/ Mail app (and else)
Summary
Offer an Undo
option instead of a Confirmation dialogue when Discard
Draft message is requested by the user in Mail app. Aim for replacing Confirmation dialogues for Remove & Discard an item, whenever it is possible.
Such an Undo
feature is implemented in the Gallery app, when removing/deleting image by sliding it away (up/down) from the row f the all images. (Pinch image in, slide image out, Undo is offered on the bottom.) I know that the usefullness of the feature is discussed #1386 (closed), but I personally just love it.
This feature concerns
Description
Who will use the new feature?
A user who may be distracted by confirmation dialogues. It is my device, I'm use to it, I can save a few seconds avoiding "YES! I really want to do that!" arguing with an app. Instead, if a floating Undo
command would appear for about 3 seconds on the bottom, that can save a day also.
What is the target of the new feature for this user?
The user gets a more fluid working process.
Why this user would like to use this feature?
A user used to his/her device saves time and energy about thinking on a confirmation dialogue. A consistent removal and discard process in each /e/ app is needed, though.
