Description
What is the current behavior?
The eFiles app is missing any possibility to sort files in ascendance or descending mode. There is a default mode for all
- By name: ascending (
a
letters first) - By date modified: descending (recent first)
- By size: (largest first)
But there is no option to switch the list to the opposite sort direction.
What is the improved behavior?
The menu items (three listed above) could switch the sort direction the opposite way, when taped the second time (i.e., two times in a row).
Note: In case when multiple sorting mode arises in the future a multi-selection sub-window can be asked by the user. I would avoid displaying a sub-window for two sorting mode (asc & desc) -- it may be troubling to choose an option every time.
What does it bring?
Better sorting display.
Workaround
User: Go to the end of the list and read items from the bottom.
Examples
The user will be able to sort ascending and descending by name, by date and by size.
Validation
The user will be able to sort ascending and descending by name, by date and by size.
