Cursor selection mode: apply selection to word, sentence, chunk between newlines (a paragraph), and whole text
Summary
The text selection mode shall select a word (this is default and implemented). By holding the selection longer, the selection can extend to a sentence (Starting just after the newline or punctuation mark and ending by a punctuation mark), to a chunk between newlines (a paragraph) and to whole text. The time steps between the selection word-sentence-paragraph shall be chosen carefully. I guess a single second is appropriate.
Or instead of the final "select whole text", slowly rolling the selection end towards the end of the text and the user decides, when to stop by lifting his finger.
This feature concerns
Description
Who will use the new feature?
A user who copy-pastes text on regular bases or many times.
What is the target of the new feature for this user?
Time saving by making pre-selection wider than it is now. Holding longer on a word will make the selection process quicker then selecting a word and then pulling the start and end selection droplet to the beginning of a sentence and to the end of a sentence.
Why this user would like to use this feature?
By a single hold more text can be selected than currently.
Examples
Selecting sentences and paragraphs quicker. "Select all" is already available in the selection submenu. But holding longer may trigger it, too finally.
