Apps update problem -

  • /e/ version: as well on latest (0.8)
  • Device model: Poco
  • When it started to occur: since 3 or 4 days when the update suggestion appeared in Apps
  • Reproducible with the last /e/ version: yes
  • Reproducible with LineageOS: does not apply

Summary

I would just raise you attention to an update issue - although it is just a minor one: I am running DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser on my phone. Latest version on my phone: 5.48.0.54800 Latest version in /e/Apps: 5.49.1.54901

When I start the update manually with Apps, the DuckDuckGo app is being downloaded and seems to be installing - but the installation process ends up in a loop and never finishes. After some time Apps is alerting that the DuckDuckGo app can be updated. The the installation button allows again to manually update... and the process begins again, but in the end the app update is not being finished.

I am not sure whether the log-file can help.... as the AppsStore still indicates that the app is being installed.
